Justin was born in Houston, Texas. While earning his Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas at Austin, Justin worked for members of the Texas House of Representatives and Texas Senate. During law school, he worked for Senator Rodney Ellis and clerked at Minton, Burton, Foster & Collins in Austin. Justin graduated from the University of Texas School of Law and was admitted to practice in Texas in 2006.
After lobbying during the 2007 Texas legislative session with Babe Schwartz, Justin joined Hance Scarborough, L.L.P. in Austin where he handled matters involving breach of fiduciary duty, insurance coverage, subrogation, easement disputes, construction, commercial landlord and tenant disputes, and personal injury.
Justin joined the firm in 2009. His areas of practice include commercial and business litigation, construction, insurance coverage and bad faith, products liability, personal injury defense, maritime/admiralty and employment litigation. He is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association, Texas Exes, and the American Inns of Court.
